I wouldn't touch WTB hubs if someone paid me. I had a Laserdisc DH rear, and the freehub (specifically the engagement system) was stuffed every few weeks. Just wouldn't engage. Bearings were average too. I've seen numerous others stuff up too, same circumstances. The inside if the freehub looks...

Electroless Nickel plating is quite hard and wear/corrosion resistant. Has a hardness of up to 70 Rockwell C- more than hard anodizing. Hmm, what does FTW use on the rear end of R9s again?

The other day my DHX Air shock had a minor issue- the oil bleed bolt up the top of the reservoir near the rebound adjuster was slightly loose, and under pressure, the O-ring behind the bolt slipped out, and oil blew out everywhere; I have essentially an undamped shock.
