Yep. True statement. I took my son for the first time 2 weeks ago (8 yrs old) and he has asked me when can we go back
almost every day.
This is his first ride.

As Jager said we took the paved road (think it was OZ) down to all my love because new beginner section was not complete. It looks like it will be about the same grade as All My Love once done. From there on he was good to go.:thumb:
He was loving the Big Hit Grom and my elbow guards worked...
I wanted to thank Beech Mountain and staff for making my 8 yr old's first DH experience a great one to remember. He had a great time and did not want to stop riding. I think he is hooked. The weather was great
and the lower beginner trail was dry and in good shape. Once the top is finished this...
I hope that I am wrong in not expecting the best news, but I am wondering why a place of buisness wanting to drive up interest in a park would not advertise sooner.
With the official end of ski / snowboard season now past Beech has already posted some race dates for 2013.
No information as of yet about the bike park. I wanted to ask if any one out there had any news dates,
trail schedules, additions or any information at all. 2012 was originally intended...
I know it is now winter / ski season but I wanted to ask if any body had any news on the bike park opening
or if its dead now that the National Races are gone? Their web site has not been updated in a long time.

areas close by (check trianglemtb.com forums freeride). Also NC mtns have alot of natural DH terrain but not so many truly legal DH specific trails. check the Ridemonkey South Forums to...
Exactly as stated above. You can get them below 40lbs with lighter parts. Mine is a med dual crowned w/Dh tubes and sits right at 40Lbs. Not like that matters to me though I have seen some posted in the mid 30s with lighter stuff. As for the geo. yes it is a little steeper than the full on Dh...
I have had one since 05 set up for mostly for DH 888 up front. Great bikes that can take a beating and still pedal well (although they can be heavy). The suspension soaks up pretty much everything I ride (up to east coast double blacks ect) and is as plush as any of my friends DH rigs. The...
You can also use an international calling card and save $$. Pick them up at
any Wal-Mart ect, and then dial the# on the card directly from your cell phone then whoever you need to call. You can call people from the lift and let them know how it sucks to be them because you are at Whistler and...
