C'mon now, go look at the light DH bike thread, I bet most Pro's bikes would not be very close to the weights of the really light one's in there.
Gee's bike was over 42lbs last season, didn't seem to stop him.....
I would take a pound on the front of a bike that is going to live to go...
I always ride with gloves - albeit thin ones. I sweat like its my job, just can't stay attached to the bars when I don't have gloves.
Also, picking gravel/stones out of your hands following a crash etc sucks! This is the other big reason I ride with gloves!
QFT!
My Flatboys are serious trooper pedals. I have wanted some nice shiny straitlines for a while now, but these things won't die and I can't bring myself to replace them until they actually do die!
Holy ****, healing vibes his way for sure!
He didn't mention what was actually wrong in that article though, I wonder what could cause the need for such rapid surgery.

I'm thinkin yeti is getting themselves in quite a good position with these videos and such. Great exposure, creates a good image of the riders/bikes and add to that they have a successful team! (I'm pretty sure...
In order to be worth anywhere near what these prices are it would have to be the most ridiculous fork every produced by man. Lighter stronger and smoother with the essentially perfect damping - and I don't think it is going to be necessarily any of these.
sure its pretty and made from CF, but...
