A personal preference here!! I prefer the flats over clipless even though I do have clipless, but I am a hardcore DH/FR, so flats have another vote casted here. For freestyle & XC riding, clipless rocks!
5.10's rule if not using Vans for flats. If you want to cut down on some green back (dough) and still get a pair of 5.10's, then get the 5.10 Rennie's pictured below. They are awesome shoes for DH/FR and are a little more cheaper than the other High Impact 5.10's. I semi-pro DH raced for 6...
Here is two videos and some pics of my 10 year old son getting his game on! I know it is not monster jumps, but he is only 10 years old. He jumps the jump line at Santos.

In & surrounding Orlando is the Little Big Econ, Soldier Creek, Environmental Center (across the street from Soldier Creek) with all three in the Oveido/Winter Springs area. Chuck Lennon Park in DeLeon Springs is awesome. Not much more in this area that is worth riding. Your best bet is...
You'll be fine. I ride a IH Yakuza Kumicho (40#'s) with 7" fork travel and 8" rear travel on our local trail, but of course I also do sessions on all the freeride stuff when not flowing through it. It is not too bad looping the entire trail a few times. Tough on some of the steeper climbs...
I really would love to be there to help you guys & gals out on the trail work for the DH race, but I live hear on the East Coast of FL, so that is a little out of my way. Sorry! I will be there to race this year though, especially being that I missed last years race due to a really bad...
Hey Leppah!
I see you have the same avatar as on Singletracks. Good to see you here brother! I love those Airwalks BTW. My son wears Airwalks and Vans and he loves them both. BTW, I was not trying to step on you with your posting over on Singletracks forum, and I apologize if you feel I...
Come on guys, lets keep it nice! Everyone has there preference as to what weight shoes they want to wear, and lighter is better. We all know that, but there are the few whom love heavier shoes. In the long run when it comes to DH, FR, AM, or XC riding, it is the rider that makes the...
I have always wore Vans when I was BMX'ing back in the day, and since I started wearing the 5.10's, they have been my top choice in riding shoes, especially for my DH/FR game. I just got these 5.10's last week, and they are awesome! I love the ankle protection they provide and the good looks!
Exceptional pics!:clapping: Even though I only live 140 miles SE of Santos, I always make the effort to ride there at least once a month. I will be there for the 2009 Spring Fat Tire Festival next month. This is an awesome place to ride, and the camp grounds at the trail head make it even...
Hello!
What is the travel on the Manitou Swinger 4-Way on your Yakuza K you are offering? What are you charging for shipping and who would you use to ship the MTB? Would be shipped to Melbourne, FL 32901. Thanks in advance!
