There used to be a very good headset summary on the Park tool website with dimensions for all types.
Had a quick look now but couldn't see it, doesn't mean its not there though.
Ah, I see how you're measuring this now. I was under the impression you were measuring like other measurements have been done for other bikes, its around 30mm in those terms.
I've been running the same 105 for 4 or 5 years now with a 12-28 cassette. My only problem is the angle the cable and outer need to enter the adjuster, I had to add a rollamagic (or whatever they are called) to stop splitting cable outers.
Been waiting for a while for finished pics, looks great!
The seat looks to be mounted directly to the seat tube? I guess this is a way to keep weight down?
Also I hope the chain doesn't wear a hole in the Gboxx for your right crank arms' sake....
I had the same issue as you. May not be the nicest way to do it but I went into my local bike shop with a ruler and a notepad and noted down the BB width, crank type, width at the widest part of the crank and where the widest part of the crank started. I may be able to dig these notes up (...
Looks like a fun place to ride, but where are all the rocks? Isn't that place meant to be a downhill?
Having never ridden outside of Australia I have no idea what to expect over there but that track looked better groomed than a BMX track for 5 year olds......
