I like my free week off over the holidays, but what I'll really like is taking 12 weeks of FMLA time over the next year once kid 3 pops out without touching my vacation hours at all (4 weeks paid by employer, 8 weeks out of accrued sick time).
yea being a desk jockey i have to use 4 PTO days. real shitty IMO. so i always have to account for that in my usage during the year.
aaaaaaaand my kids' daycare is on lockdown. sounds like a precautionary measure but nerve-wracking nonetheless.

Gotta say, I love it when somebody has lots of questions about how markets work and I get to spend an over an hour explaining things to people instead of dealing with whiny "why's my account down" people. Just spent over an hour with a 26 y/o with a ton of questions who walked away with book recommendations and a basic understanding of how markets function.
