The selling spree continues, Facebook marketplace has been 10 for 10 with the productivity. The only 2 items I havent listed are waiting on @boostindoubles and his slow ass.

In other news,

According to my financial advisor, Credit agency and my tax attorney I may hit an 850 credit score next month finally, sounds stupid but just wanted to say I was there once. Kinda impossible to keep in the long run but hey.

hey now

had beers with a friend last night, good to get out of the house. He's trying to buy a house in my town but only has one child, so cannot afford to sacrifice one to the gods of real estate.

Jealous. I've been in the 780s and 790s for solid 5 or 6 years now waiting finally hit the 800 but it has yet to happen. I think I'm still dinged for my credit history which is short at 13 or 14 years. Nothing I can really do about that except get old I guess.

I too have some appliances and Jeep bits I need to get on the marketplace. I'm done with Craigslist forever.

Just to say I been there, I had to have a revolving 30% on all my cards exactly by the end of the month in order to capture the reporting for the last 6 months as well as have at least 2 refinanced vehicles and 3 credit limit increases all the while my credit agency was writing letters to the tune of $99 a month for the last 8 months. and getting the county to file my property info every month. After this month it will settle back down to 780 or so as it always does.

@gonefirefightin you have any experience or knowledge of rebuilding Fox 2.0 shocks with remote reservoir? Mine have hit 50k miles and really starting to feel like shit, so wanted to rebuild them all. I was having a hard time getting an answer from Fox on price and turnaround time, and couldn't find anyone local that would do it. Can't find enough info online whether or not rebuilding myself is possible with standard tools.

I got annoyed and wound up buying new shocks, so will either wind up selling these or rebuilding myself and hold on for when I get the new shocks sent out for service.

They can be rebuilt but they are still fox 2.0, I would rebuild them or send them off, then buy some radflos, kings, or something that can be tuned as well.

I wound up going with the teraflex falcon 3.3s. They seem to have great reviews and every teraflex component I've had has been great. Guess I'll see if the same holds for their shocks.

Two drinks was all it took for my brain to justify spending stupid money on two new tweeters because they will sound a bit better off axis than the ones I already have, I'm an idiot.
Tired all day, wide awake at midnight, yay!

Here. Life has calmed down now that FTS project is on slowdown mode. Wifey and Haley are off in TN for a few days for nephew's 1st bday. Plan is for Denny's/IHOP for dinner the next 4 days and skiing Friday and Saturday w/ Hannah.

I get to spend the next few days sorting out the kitchen counters for Wifey, deciding on panels, and picking which neck brace I'm getting. It needs to be a cost reasonable one that I can use with my bike too, so it's still not going to be super cheap unfortunately. Any suggestions for a good neck brace for mtb? Most I can just carry over.

Also, Haley got a new visor and has unleashed her inner Cobra Commander.

I would have thought for motorsport related fun you're better off with a thicker "roll" type, like you've got for Haley in the photo, rather than a Leatt MTB type brace.

Both S and I wear a Leatt for DH, you're welcome to come and check them out. We should have Trestle passes again this summer, @Toshi has his fancy new DH bike ready for action and occasionally we get @Nick out there too. So you should definitely ride bikes more.

I've been sitting at 850 @ at least one of the agencies for years now. I didn't even try.

I think I shall celebrate still being online by procuring a hand forged fixed blade, because fuqueet Matrix.

Got access to a nitrogen tank? You'll need one to rebuild those. Otherwise, it's a bunch of shaft clamps and stuff, nothing crazy.

Find a shop that does services dirt bikes, UTVs, or snowmobiles, they might be able to help you out. Downsouth Motorsports does shock rebuilds too, but at $200/shock, that's approaching the cost of a new shock when you factor in shipping.

Do those Terraflex have anodized aluminum bodies? My Kings have taken a beating from the road salt and I fluid film them every year to try and delay the inevitable.

1. Yup
2. Yup, that's too much
3. Yup. I can't think of a shock (in the family of shocks I'd want) that doesn't have anodized aluminum bodies. Such is life living in New England.

I'm rarely one to preach but please don't skimp in this area. After watching a friend flip a kart at well over 100 MPH (he was OK but pretty banged up), as well as witnessing and being involved in a variety of other karting accidents, it's nothing to mess around with. I believe you are on an indoor track and not going as fast, but the worst wreck I was involved in was at slow speeds. Go to a kart shop and talk to the most experienced person there. I believe you are in CO. This site looks to be a good local resource.

Good luck.
