Rain, rain and moar RAIN.

Rode some local trails last night. We noticed over the winter that some trails had been blocked, but last night confirmed it in concrete. One of the local conservation authorities has completely annihilated about 1/3 of the forest. Great trails completely gone and no trespassing signs posted (on public owned land...wtf?). :(

On a plus note, two of the spots that had some serious strava lines, which I blocked and reblocked a bunch of times are in fact still blocked. That's good to see. :)

Wifey is doing a side project and she charges by the hour. The project has come back 4 times with negligible changes, but they have changed the size of the design they want forcing her to redo the entire thing 4 times now. The billable rate now has gotten to the point that the materials for installing built-in's and stacked stone around the fireplace are paid for, almost to the point of getting myself a table saw to do the work. I love stupid people...

All conference calls today. I'll be setting up my office in the guest bedroom today as well. That's about all I've got.

Considering quitting my job... again. I have a couple projects that (if I were awarded them) would carry me for a few months while I build my portfolio site, shore up the resume, and find a new gig. But then I remember I still haven't paid off the debt from the last round of #funemployment and think I should do that plus get some money in the bank (i.e. a bit of financial runway) before just up and quitting. But holy h*ck...

because I'm working from home today, I was able to take Haley to school on bike. She hasn't ridden all winter because skiing and oh my God it's a way too f****** small. I have to see about maybe getting a taller front end and raising your seat up but damn it's small.

I don't think she's onto 24" yet, but I would want to check. She's on a small 20" and it's way small; her step over clearance is like 4".

I think there needs to be some kind of punishment for @canadmos if we don't get an update soon. Unless he's been fired for eating the slice of cake...
