In hell. Welcome!
T2 rack mod pics per @Adventurous request. Very easy to replicate if anyone else is interested. Actuates much, much easier as you're pulling in the direction the locking bar moves, rather than the cam action that tends to bind up. And you don't have to lean over the rack as an added bonus. Thanks to @Westy for the idea.

Parts needed:
- 2-arm pull handle with 5/16-18 stud from McMaster-Carr
- 3/8" bronze flanged bushing
- 19" section of 3/8" stainless tubing (.035" wall), one end tapped with 5/16-18 thread
- 2" section of 5/16-18 threaded rod with 1/2 the length turned down to press fit into the end of the tube. Cross drill a 1/8" hole through the threaded end, about 1/4" from the end of the rod.
- New stainless "locking bar" made from 1/2" key stock, with a 5-16-18 threaded thru hole in the center

Steps:
1) Press fit turned down end of threaded rod into non-threaded end of tube.
2) Pinned them together by drilling and pressing in (2) 1/8" spring pins, then ground flush.
3) Remove existing lever/bar/spring assembly.
4) Insert new bar.
5) Insert new tube, threading fully into block.
6) Hook end of spring through cross drilled hole in threaded rod, and hook other end into hole in tube.
7) Drill hole into existing etube end cap and install bronze bushing.
8) Thread 2-arm pull handle into end of tube.
9) Drink beer and stare at bike on bike rack.

Any good? I'm sure it's not anything to write home about, but at least it's some entertainment on a Saturday night after riding.
you hit the nail on the head. granted it was about 8 years ago that i went. had some pretty entertaining stuff. food was decent. beer lines were long from what i recall. i also seem to recall they were selling minikegs too.

i was with a group of guys. one guy hooked up with a chick in her tent. another went home with some chick to her parents house, and had a very awkward morning.

The annoying fat girl at work was breathing all over my lunch today. She's pathologically focused on food, so she does this shit all the time.

She was asking me "Hey, what did you get today?"

So I said "This is called a salad."

Now I gotta talk to HR.

That looks like engineering to me. Hopefully you spent 10x the project time on paperwork beforehand so you could properly replicate the corporate experience.

Kidding. Kind of. Looks good. If my rack wasn't so beat at this point I might consider doing the same but it's starting to show it's age for sure.

jointly owned.
with the Province. So jointly owned by two public entities. so still public land! I know CMHC well, the land my house is built on is owned by them (that's right, I don't own my own land, just the house built on it. It's a 99 year lease). Their whole mandate is to encourage affordability of land and access to affordable housing. Their main line of business these days is to provide mortgage insurance. in the 80s it was set up to provide mortgage insurance when insurance rates spiked to above 20% and people were defaulting all over the place... it's kinda their main thing these days. It's weird that they own the land there, my guess is it was probably originally meant as a way of countering speculation and ensuring there would be an affordable housing offer in the area....

So maybe they're gonna build high-density affordable housing on that mountain? :D

Our HR lady said "I know she's a very large woman who doesn't get along with anybody, but you can't say that." Then she gave a bonus check for five grand. Kind of a mixed message there.

If you were actually eating a salad, how could you not tell her it was a salad?

How would he have known he was going to get a bonus for calling out the fat chick? I would be leary of eating my Wendys Taco Salad near a fat chick also. The farty of smell Wendys food drives fat chicks wild. I have witnessed this myself....

In hell. Welcome!
Rode this afternoon juust before rain, that's back to back rides every day of this week so far. It is hot and 100% humid and wet leaves everywhere and slippery, not too boring. Rain tomorrow == a much needed break.

At least she did not eat you.

Getting ready to fly to Copenhagen. It will be a busy week but I should get some good quality time along in Copenhagen.

T2 mods look nice but would eliminate ability to mount up the 3rd and 4th bike add-on.

I spent hours at the boot fitter (2.5, to be precise). I didn't walk out there with boots. I did buy some but Larry of Larry's Boot Fitting will work on them some more before I return. He said he and I will be buddies since my feet are as wide as they are long. :D

Tecnica Ten.2 120 HVL. + lots of liner and possibly shell work, some yet still to come. It was just Larry as his other employee gave herself a concussion biking yesterday, apparently, and I had to get to work.
