yep but also note that the lower leg apparently goes past the axle so a-c distance not necessarily increased.

These days there's so much expertise and experience in taiwan, I'd rather have them do it than some greasy haired italian bean pole taking cigarette breaks every 10 minutes and chasing around tourist chicks so they can come home and meet momma mia
And as for issues w/ '06 888 sls getting full travel, that must be a problem for lightweight riders. I have some issues w/ mine, but bottoming it out is not one of them, so don't go selling 'em all as being defective...

I just bought an '08 888RC3 and I absolutely love it. The weight isnt that bad and its super smooth. The adjustment knobs feel great and offer mucho adjustment. Cant wait to race it next season!
From what I've heard, it's ~ 8lbs, not including the integrated stem and with an uncut steerer tube.
Thats heavier than my 05, with 2 springs and integrated stem....not what I wanted to hear.
Anyone know the ACTUAL weight of the '08 888 WC ATA with steerer and stem?
The 05 was actually light for a 888. My 07 888WC with Ti springs is the exact same weight as my 05 888 RC with steel springs. The 07 888 RC2X was almost a 1/2 lb heavier.Thats heavier than my 05, with 2 springs and integrated stem....not what I wanted to hear.
I just picked up an 08 66 ATA to replace my disfunctional Totem 2step. Only one ride so far but it feels good. The travel adjust works properly so it's 1 up on the Totem already.
ask Mike P, he had one for a short while, and weighed it on a variety of scales...
Mike didn't have the ATA WC. He had the '08 888 RC3.

I have the 07WC and wondering aside of a little heavier and 38mm stanchions is there a internal difference ie better valving etc...
