Costa Rica gave them all they could handle...deserved a better outcome imho...I really hate the 11m to decide what was a great game by both sides.

Germany gave them quite a sportsing.
Just back from the pub...my thoughts...
Klose has a history of being in the right place at the right time...he is not as beastly as one would think. Muller was impressive, especially after Sideshow Bob tried to kick him. And Schürrle and Kroos were awesome too.
An absolute asswhipping though...unglaublich! Fireworks still going off around the house, have resered a tisch at mein lieblingspub for Sonntag! AUFGEHTS JUNGS! KAMPFEN UND SEIGEN!

Glad this one didnt go to penalties...a little disappointed the pub cleared out as quickly as it did. Germans will be at work tomorrow...a little bleary eyed but there!

Tough game and both team's defenses looked pretty good. Some decent shots taken and some good opportunities missed by both sides.
