Originally bought the bike used, had some different parts(truvativ bars, wtb saddle, truvativ seatpost, ti spring) I wasn't feeling.. The Ti spring was too soft for me :banghead: swapped in the proper spring in steel to get a feel for it.. weighed it last night came in at 44lb even. Not too happy w/the weight, but I'm a big dude, and the bike rides lighter than it feels.. I'd like to get a new wheelset(loved the 823/hope hub combo on my mini-dh), swap to the lg-1, and get a direct mount, along with a Ti spring, but funds are low right now maybe for next season.

Spec List..
-2007 Cove Shocker-DH Large Powdercoated some funky hammered grey jobby(probably adds weight)
-2007 Roco WC w/550lb Fox Spring I have a 500lb Marzocchi spring to play with
-2007 Boxxer WC
- Sunlive V1 bars / Grips in the limited edition red/white color combo
- Truvativ Stem
- Truvativ Hussefelt OCT Cranks/BB
- e13 SRS
- Deity Pedals(love them already)
- Deity Seatpost in Grey(also diggin' this, prefer the mounting system better than thomson's double bolt setup)
- Charge Spoon Saddle
- FSA Pig Headset
- Maxxis 2.5 Minion DHF up front and Ardent 2.4 out back
- Ringle Hubs front and back w/MTX rim up front and 721 out back
- Avid Codes hand polished w/Straitline levers
- x.0 shifter and x.9 derailleur not sure on the cassette/chain.

Some crappy pics..

Where did you get the frame painted? Do you have more pics by any chance?
Here ya go!

When I bought the bike, I had not the slightest clue it was a prototype back from 2002 until I tried mounting up a 8.5x.25 shock. It was far to short, called Turner and got things sorted out. Its running a 9.5x3 DHX (which barely fits) has 9" of travel 14.5ish inch bb height. I love it, gets ridden 4-5 days a week.

One of my best friends painted it for me, once the paintjob gets all torn up I can strip it away and have him do it again. Its painted on top of black ano, which air craft stripper wont melt away.

Very nice. Is it new or are you one of those rare people who actually look after their ride :brows:
Clean look and build.
I usually keep it pretty clean :) That comes from the times I used to live with a girl and kept my bikes at our bedroom.. I had to wash it after every ride

I haven't crashed it more than 4 or 5 times neither.

Here is my iron horse sunday, with a sprinkle of new parts here and there. I'm a bit surprised that it weighs 40 pounds 15 ounces with a some light parts. I don't mind, just surprised. I don't see how some get a sunday down to the fabled 36 pounds.

Specs
07 Boxxer team, rufus decals, soft spring and flat crown
Pushed dhx
Gravity lites 165mm
Xpedo magnesium pedals (415 grams)
5.1d wheelset. I'll have to see how they hold up. At least I got them cheap.
2.3 dual ply Specialized chunder tires
e.13 lg1
Saint brakeset
Sunline bar, stem, grips
x.9 d, x.0 shifter
Sram 11-23 cassette.

I'm sure a ti spring, boxxer world cup, and lighter brakes could shed 2 pounds. But not much more.

How so? Mine comes in a little over 40 with a world cup, steel spring, outlaw wheels, DHF 3Cs, saint brakes cranks and derailleur...standard saddle...I'm sure I could lose two pounds with better wheels and a ti spring...then you could get into the psycho weight saving with a ti saddle, XC tires, XC cranks, XC brakes...but then you're asking for trouble. I'm hoping my bike is bombproof and needs nothing for the whole season...and it's still 40 pounds!

So i've been MIA for a while due to injury, work, school and some other personal reasons. Been dealing with depression for the past few months and am glad that i'm finally getting my life back together. My girl though had her **** taken cared of though. As i was out of action, she was busy with some diet plan and lost quite a bit of weight. She looks great and feels great... check it out... XD

thanks to Sonny who helped me with the shock hardware complications... XD

I put my bike on a serious diet.

34.96 lbs. I have a 2010 WC to put on it as well.

Damn that's a nice setup. Even though I don't like the look of the green legend I envy.
I preordered mine and wait for it for quite some time. I go bananas everytime I see a legend now ;)

Right, it now has working forks, it SHOULD be around 34lb's, it was 34.6 or something with 40's and steel spring.
