The tires ran flawlessly with the Giant Oem wheels, I got some snazzy lightweight dt's and now they won't seal. Sealant or not.

Where does the air escape?
Random different places around the bead. They change. The tires and rims have been repeatedly scrubbed, new valve stems installed, etc.
It seems like the pressure is too high for the sealant (I ran them for a few hundred miles last fall with no sealant at all). My friend who is a mechanic for Team Giant helped me today, still we are perplexed. He suggested a new tire...that seems drastic.
He doesn't have to pay for such things...

We actually built up the rim bed with gorilla tape, that allowed it to (more or less) seal, but now it is a slow leak. Maybe I'll fill up the bathtub and see exactly where it is leaking now.

Funny thing, all this talk of gin... I picked up a bottle of their gin while on my tour this evening: http://www.northof7distillery.ca/products It's actually quite good. I'd drink it neat. Or with an olive in it. But it will probably see lots of tonic water.

How wide is the tire and what's the id of the rim?
had two ... coulda had three.
25mm tire, 18mm I'd of rim. Shouldn't be any problem there.
