The frame on itself isn't convicing enough for me to pay 1299 euro for it when for not much more I can get something proven and what seems to be a better designed frame. The real deals are the completes. It's also offered as a frame only including Vivid 5.1 w/steel spring
pricing will be according to YT Industries:
1299 euro
1862 USD
1962 CAD
Will be available in March 2010
I thought you were typing quite well for being "drunk as hell" until you finished with tomorWOW! HahaWhat in gods name is that abortion??
I'm drunk as hell, but even ifI were sober, I'd be confused. I will confirm tomorwow.
Didn't you know that more = better? At least the marketing dept knows thatso it's a horst link bike but the shock is actuated by a second set of seatstays welded to the first set and connected at the pivot end by a chunk of aluminum that does nothing except for keeping the end of the "shockstays" from shearing off?
That was a surprisingly apt description. It looks like a 951 and a Demo gang-banged a Devinci Wilson and neither are making child support payments.
Isn't that pretty close to the price of a TR450 (maybe not in euroland) which looks eleventy times better?
That is f*#@in hillarious. It looks like a 951 and a Demo gang-banged a Devinci Wilson and neither are making child support payments.
Clever. How's that working out for you?... Being clever...It looks like a 951 and a Demo gang-banged a Devinci Wilson and neither are making child support payments.
That what i was suggesting earlier - frame price is not that much of a deal. Around here the price of the YT and TR are even closer if you talk about frames but building a whole bike on the same components would be much more expensive. (Ie you wouldn't even buy TR + boxxer team for that price)Frame and Shock will be $2399 (Fox RC4) TR450
Vs. 1862$ for this abortion... I'm not good at math but that doesn't equal 1600$ more like $537.
(I was referring to the frame prices though.)
The complete is a pretty smokin deal but the frame price seems fairly standard, I would much rather go with the race proven and more reputable Transition over the upstart (not to mention uglier) thing posted above. You could probably get away with buying the complete, stripping it and selling the frame and still coming away on top. That what i was suggesting earlier - frame price is not that much of a deal. Division is their own brand of slightly (not always) modified catalogue stuff. I'm pretty sure their hubs is very similar to an existing chosen model. The complete is a pretty smokin deal but the frame price seems fairly standard, I would much rather go with the race proven and more reputable Transition over the upstart (not to mention uglier) thing posted above. 2010 Boxxer Team
Avid Elixir
E13 SRS+
X9 Der shifter
Boobar
Alex Rims
Division (?) pedals
That stuff alone would cost well over 1000 then you could sell the (unused) frame for a little less than what it retails for and voila, sweet build kit for a better frame.
You guys crack me up, if dw helped create this design, it would be the best ever.
To the best of my knowledge Transition hasn't been around all that long, or have they? To me they have seemed to have popped up on the scene about 3-5 years ago. A company has to start somewhere. Look at Evil, if dw & ska todd weren't involved I highly doubt they would be as successful as they are, right from the get go.I would much rather go with the race proven and more reputable Transition over the upstart (not to mention uglier) thing posted above.

If its not a Krapile, its crapSeriously? 3-5 years doesn't proove anything for you? 90% of the bikes 5 years ago were crap so being at that time in dh doesn't really proove **** for me. Transition is proven for CS and the fact that recently they had no issues with their frames braking/cracking.
No, my point is EVERY company has to start somewhere. Everyone seems to be quickly judging this bike without riding it. Could it be the best bike ever? Maybe, maybe not.Seriously? 3-5 years doesn't proove anything for you? 90% of the bikes 5 years ago were crap so being at that time in dh doesn't really proove **** for me. And if Karpiel made it we would all be getting stabbed by your chubby through our computer screens...You guys crack me up, if dw helped create this design, it would be the best ever.
Nope, impossible. I'm hung like a pimple. And if Karpiel made it we would all be getting stabbed by your chubby through our computer screens...
