theres potapsico witch is around baltimore city theres urban rides in DC umm if you go to mtbr and do a trail search you should be able to find a lot of stuff in MD and VA

There is also a ride from old town Alexandria, Va to Mt. Vernon (The Pre-White House - George and Martha Washington House). and there are trails that branch off from there...but I dont of anything else.
I used to work in a bike shop down there years ago called "Tow Path Cycles" that along that route.

Hit up www.dcstreet.com , they have rides every thursday i think. Other than that, ask around in here, im sure you'll get alot of great spots to ride.
