No, I had my daughter last weekend. I'm glad I diddn't go, I'd be pushing the thing the whole way. It's not an easy bike to ride. I did an 8 mile urban assault on it last night. My knees are killin me. It's sort of a double edged sword. If I raise the seat tube on it ridiculously high, I can ride it, but it looks kinda whacky like that. I'll try a longer stem. If that doesn't help, check ebay

Awe, come on, nobody rides all of Lincoln Woods, we all push up the hills. If that longer stem does not work, look to me first, before ebay.

FQs sound alot like Evil Imperials for fitting issues, but i love my Imp and would love to move into a FQ.

Ima give it some more time. Yeah the geometry feels like an imperial. I wish I could have made it out to Lincoln. I just can't stand having the heaviest bike all the time and having to push while everyone else rides. I gotta change that fork if I'm gonna ride this bike. It's just way too soft with the stiff springs in it.

Funny thing is my FQ also reminds me of the Imp I had in chainstay length... I think they run right around similar chainstay lengths (i.e. short chainstay wacko world goodness bonanza)

Knucks, do what I do when I ride with people who pedal all the way... Never EVER stop bitching about their lightweight panzy a$$ bikes and always remind them how you're gonna whoop their a$$es on the next DH section. and if you don't remind them they'll find out themselves farily quick :) The FQ isn't light indeed, but it more than makes up for that in every single other aspect of biking!!! :)

why thakies tmxie. I was out in a sketchy private property land in the middle of nowhere / pitch black farm lands type place taking those pics during a near full moon eclipse. All those memories of horror movies and the exorcist chick kept coming to mind i was litterally scared to death taking those pics :D

when you order a race link what dropouts do they send as standard equip. The 24inch ones or the 26inch ones?
they give you your choice. it is up to you.

I am ordering both because 1) ill have both sets of wheels 2) I'll have a spare derailleur hanger.

THat build sounds sweet. i'd like to run CK hubs next summer. i understand that the Kings rear hub will have to have some machining inorder to accept a 12mm axle. I think it is the end cap pieces that can be removed, machined and re-installed. I hope so. by then, hopefully arrow will have their UST DH rim available. that'll be tight 'n light! Im daring myself to try the mary kay edition hub colour! So when are you planning to get the frame? like Feb or early march??

BTW, that link ( title 17, chapter 5 ) talk about cable systems, phonorecords, tapes, computer programs, satellite transmissions, architectural work, but NOTHING about bicycles !?

Copyright is about intelectual property ( songs, movies, computer programs, etc ).

Chalk it up to me being lazy and poking fun.

so yours is #3 of all the RL's. it has the good gussets up front, did you send it back to have them installed? What does your bike weigh?

Hepp!

I ordered mine august 22. I'm not sure witch batch and so on.. Doc said he'd get it ready in late oct. or early nov. And that's about now..! :D
I'll use the winter to build it up. It will be ready around march I guess. Build with all top-shelf components.

I ordered the shortest dropouts to get as short wheelbase as posible. They can be used with a 26" wheel, can't they ?? (I'm building Mavic 721's on King hubs. Running a Maxxis 2,35" tire).
