Jag E-Type? MG's arn't too bad to look after, but personally I'd be going for an old Morgan that had a engine rebuild recently, or a new engine in the last 10-15 years.
Also electrical problems in cars that old arn't usually too bad as long as you know what you are looking for
Nothing yet but decided against another car. Kind of ****ty after getting all this advise on cars (which I really apreciate). But the opporunity to go on a week long canoe trip 10 hours North of Vancouver came to being, and I decided to go for that instead. I'm just working with my budget in another way.
For days when the wife needs our car I'll be buying a new bike to commute with.
Thanks again for everyone's oppinions on cars though!

Forgot about that nasty one.. 1986, the last year of Group B, right? It was Henri Toivonen's (maybe wrong Fin I'm thinking of) crash that put an end to that era... I had a 1970 Volvo 121 "Amazon" in a similar blue colour.
Difference with Alfas is that they are way more common and therefore easier to find (cheaper) parts for.
