A few notes:
- Due to day light issues and time constraints considering last years turnout of 165 racer entries, we're only planning on offering one timed one per racer this year.
- We'll have electronic timing this year for quick results and awards.
- I believe we say this every year, but the recent modifications to the trail have made this the best race course we've offered.
- All jumps with gaps will have go-arounds.
- Teams are welcome to setup their tents in the finish area as they did last year, but please leave some space for the timing officials.
- Bring your own food and water. The race is in the middle of a forest, thus neither will be provided.
- DO NOT PUSH YOUR BIKE BACK UP THE TRAIL. USE THE FIRE ROAD DURING PRACTICE FOR ALL UPHILL TRAFFIC.
- PROPERLY DISPOSE OF YOUR TRASH AND ANY OTHER TRASH THAT YOU SEE. Our privilege to build and host races in Clemson's forest hinges on our ability to keep the forest litter free. The forest is littered with trash after every race for some reason. Please make an effort to change that.
- The same goes with alcohol. I know its lame, but make a serious effort to refrain from bringing alcohol into the forest. The university forestry department is serious about this. THEY WILL revoke our rights to build and host races if they find the remnants of alcohol bottles littering the area after the race.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.
