1 Lopes 4:15Who won air DH. Lopes again??
1 Lopes 4:15
2 Blenki 4:18
3 Gee 4:18
4 Bryn 4:19
5 Fabien Cousin
6 Evan Turpen
Kovarik was on a ripper, top 3 I think, but ate massive crap off GLC, hes off to hospital for stitches and checkin his arm out.
ACC won ladies followed by Emmeline (Intense M9)...dont know rest except my girls Claire 6th, Leigh 10th.
It's pretty wild to put ACC's talent into perspective, if she came back to World Cups now she would still win. Wonder what the other girls think. ACC even blew away the worlds best BMXers at the biggest stage possible. And I'm pretty sure she holds the world speed-skiing record for stock skis too!1 Lopes 4:15

Bryn chucked the f**king SICKEST scrubs I've ever seen over the big tables halfway down upper A-line. There were a couple of other notables but holy hell his scrubs were AMAZING as well as loose as hell, full points for commitment there. Pretty sure Blinky was only 0.48 or something behind Lopes too, not 3 seconds.1 Lopes 4:15

Olympic gold medal in BMX, 55 world cups wins, 12 DH World Championships, and 4 4x World Championships . . . still in a league of her own. It's pretty wild to put ACC's talent into perspective, if she came back to World Cups now she would still win. And hasn't Emmeline been the runner up to all those victories? It's gotta be frustrating for her, but at the same time, she's showing some pretty awesome consistency of her own. And things are just going to get better. 2x world champ in the making?Christ again! Old man can still rip
How bout ACC, she's got the grand slam going. What a talent!
Geez I didn't even know she had some 4x worlds under her belt. That picture is pretty terrifyingOlympic gold medal in BMX, 55 world cups wins, 12 DH World Championships, and 4 4x World Championships . . . still in a league of her own.
She won't be. Leigh was riding with her the first day we were here and she said she is not going to do MSA, she was originally, but pulled out. The racing here for ACC has been fun, but she said she gets way too nervous to race now and living up to her own legend at MSA for another worlds title would have her puking all over the place (that part was my translation).Would be amazing to see ACC on the start line at Mont Saint Anne...
I thought the clock had lopes at 4:15:69 and Blenki at 4:18:17. I could be wrong. Did he take a bad line? Went too fast and overshot it? Any updates on injuries? Thanks.Kovarik was on a ripper, top 3 I think, but ate massive crap off GLC, hes off to hospital for stitches and checkin his arm out.
Overshot to flat, nosedived it and ate it hard. As far as injuries go - due to him landing on several rocks, there are now several broken rocks.Did he take a bad line? Went too fast and overshot it? Any updates on injuries? Thanks.
You are not supposed to roost on the face of a jumpElliot Jackson fvcking KILLS teh skrubz!!
hahah yeah, especially not with your FRONT wheel! Him and the guy on the red Demo (Mikey Sylvestri?) were doing crazy crazy scrubs, Sylvestri was able to do em to both sides too which was bonkers. One of the coolest things I've ever seen on a bike for sure. You are not supposed to roost on the face of a jump
2nd that - the new scrubmaster!Elliot Jackson fvcking KILLS teh skrubz!!
Just saw the vid thinking the same thing!!! Plus, for those not accustomed to A Line, those are two last jumps before the long straight and the bottom section and you gain massive speed on those! You are not supposed to roost on the face of a jump
If scrubbing like elliot is wrong, I don't want to be right! You are not supposed to roost on the face of a jump
he hit the eject at the right time thankfullyWhat happened to Rude? Jump into a ditch or something in that vid?
It's a step down that can toss you a long way if you hit it too fast.he hit the eject at the right time thankfully
Did Lopes compete? Seemed a bit pissed at the "new" format...Full report momentarily, but for now those are you winners! Hart second, Buhl second. Photos dropping ASAP
Did not see him, I think only 14 guys started after many practiced. It was not a giant slalom, it was a 'dual' ala 1999. A bit lame, but I will say when they got into the final, the guys AND girls were f-ing hauling a$$, I was super impressed with the chicks and prokop was out of his mind fast on that sketchy track. After his recent world cup and watching him here...I think he is the favorite for worlds, he just has the old fire in his eyes.Did Lopes compete? Seemed a bit pissed at the "new" format...
Bearcloth and Seminuk had awesome runs going but ate **** hard on the finish jump. Would have been close to call if they had stuck their runs. From what read, alot of riders got hurt this year with the slopestyle event.
DUAL!!! Geez, that brings back epic battles between Lopes and CullyDid not see him, I think only 14 guys started after many practiced. It was not a giant slalom, it was a 'dual' ala 1999. Oh, and the new Intense TazerVP won.
You boys need a dictionary! It was a duel! Not dual! hahaDUAL!!! Geez, that brings back epic battles between Lopes and Cully
You think he can give Gravey a run for his money? He's certainly on better form then the previous years even if he took quite a tumble during the Leogang round!!
there's a little (but not much) pump track action in this vid: http://freecaster.tv/mtb/1012768/kokanee-crankworx-2010-day-5 (and a good shot of the Monster girl handing the giant cheque to Jill Kintner )Anyone see any videos from pump track?
That is definately some sweet footage. I only wish too scrub like that. You are not supposed to roost on the face of a jump
