I acknowledge roadies, mountain bikers, runners, walkers, roller ski freaks, and skateboarders...everyone gets a nod, a "hey" or a little hand flick.

I acknowledge other bikers with a wave or nod, as long as I'm not stomp climbing or white knuckle descending at the time. Generally I get a wave or nod back, but if I don't, it certainly isn't worth getting stressed over.

It's skate skiing (form of xc ski) on pavement without snow.

It's strange around here. I think I get more waves from the farmers and ranchers than anybody else.
