It isn't advantageous for a virus to kill the host. Ideally it will let the host live and continue to spread the virus. Herpes has it all figured out.

this will be interesting to unfold. if, in any court cases, she does claim insanity (or make any claims of incompetence) as a defense, is that grounds for being disbarred?
