money is not a new problem.
I agree Brother.

Fucking,we here can remember before the Internet. I remember thinking this is Sooo Dangerous. Most All that I knew were excited, and “All In“ with this Internet, but I was Always worried.

At that time I had a 2year Boy and was Dead Set on making sure what he was doing. Of course I was Incredibly Lucky to fall into that Crack raising a Child. That Crack being my Son’s Age,and the Start of the Internet. I got Lucky Brother’s,that’s all. It was just Luck. Then, the Future happens.

For me,to Live this whole change over the decades is,I don’t have the word? Sorry. For my Son it has been a Radical change when he hit 30. Covid,Flat Earf, telling Pa No for the First time, arguing with Pa,that I do not know what I am talking about. It has been a Ride.

I was Very Strict when I raised him. Yes Sir,No Mam,Look a Man in his Eyes when you shake his hand, and make sure you have a Strong Handshake. Remember,Every Choice has a Consequence.

You get my point. I am Old School. My Wife is old school, her Father was Old School. We Fight, but we do night fight about being Old School as a Couple. Sorry for the Rant,Avy is tired and forgot his thought?

Oh, OK, I thought that map was circa 2018.
It seems to me that in ‘23, Zelenskyy would basically do anything that the U.S. wanted him to do (in terms of things like this that are purely symbolic) in order to keep the flow of weapons, intelligence, and cash flowing to his wrecked country.
I don't see it as any sort of expression of the will of the Ukranian people, I bet ain't nobody taking opinion polls in Eastern Ukraine right now….

The US gets 60% of their aluminum from Quebec. The proposed 25% tariff would be on top of existing tariffs bringing the total to 50%.

Quebec PM said yesterday that if DT goes thru with his latest threat, no more aluminum would be sent to the US but forwarded to Europe instead.

It’s not the numbers that really matter here but rather the amount of fear that it stokes among migrant workers that will deter them from coming here. This is most certainly going to have a negative impact on the economy when a significant portion of the workforce is gone. You think groceries are expensive now, wait until there is a significant shortage in produce pickers and meat processors. Only the broligarchs will be able to afford food from a store.

Ask Georgia about rotting peaches from lack of Mexicans.

But he's been saying 20M+ and he's nowhere near that mark.

So how long until the plaque gets removed from the Statue of Liberty ?

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”

If the plan is to get back to a post WWII great America, the first step is to make sure you have a world war where most of the economic superpowers of the world are busy rebuilding their bombed out countries while America revels in the safety of its geographic isolation. That’s how you get American manufacturing back to being a global force.
