Have you checked in on your active-duty military trans friends lately?
Literally the only bright thing in my world right now is checking in with these brave fucking service-oriented heroes and hearing that their units are all united in protecting them and keeping them serving.
People under active transition are only a tiny, tiny fraction of the military, somehow i know 3 of those folks. Different branches, different posts.
Their comrades in arms want them, and are protecting them. Perhaps our volunteer military will, in fact, be the guiding light here. We can only hope as the illegal orders start coming down soldiers continue organizing at the unit-level against fascist overreach.
