Meh. Thermal mass but no insulation there.

I like my stick built home. 2 x 4" walls x 2, each insulated with an air gap between 'em. 9.5" thick, R-38. R-50 in attic. Double pane windows are the weak spot but light is good.

You have heard about autoclaved aerated concrete, or? Best of both worlds.

Concrete with holes in it, I'm guessing? Nice. SIPs are another option that I was eyeing before opting for this house.

Be careful with SIPs. We’ve had some issues in NZ with them turning out to be unfit for purpose after a few years of real-world use. They can be awesome and Northern Europe does this well but you can’t just chuck them in, they need specific/best practice handling and installation to be effective and last the distance. Rotten SIPs are hideously expensive to fix.
