Germany accuses elmo of interfering in their election. On behalf of the neo-nazis. Of course.

What still puzzles me is that he supports parties that are fully against EVs and want to return to the glory days of german ICE cars. The AFD voters are the least likely to buy his products, because either too poor or they prefer german gasoline cars. Is he trying to sink Tesla after he did it with X?
Maybe his strategy is to keep other car companies building ICE cars so that they need to buy CO2 certificates from Tesla and make him rich? :tinfoil:

News stories are saying Tesla will pivot from electric to hydrogen. The first hydrogen vehicles are scheduled to roll out 2026. This might tie in.

"Tesla earned $2.1 billion by selling regulatory credits to other automakers in the first three quarters of 2024, according to reporting from The New York Times based on the company's regulatory filings. That accounts for 43% of the automaker's—er... "A.I. company's"—profit."

That's exactly what he's doing. Tesla is every bit as much as regulatory credit seller as they are an auto maker.

No, Tesla is a game changer.
They are. People never avoided a specific car brand because of their political views until Tesla/Musk. A few colleagues that bought EVs recently did decide against Teslas because of Elons antics, even though the cars itself ticked most of their boxes otherwise.
Did Elon not learn from all the right-wing cancelling of "woke" companies?

Not that I’m advocating such a thing, but is there now a betting line on the likelihood of a Muskrat assassination attempt preceding another Trump attempt? This is just starting to feel like they guy is publicly behaving in a way that will attract big crazy energy.

So how's Musk security detail compared to Trump? Asking for a friend.
Probably way better. Google tells me 20 people at an annual cost of $2.4m. Secret service no doubt has access to better resources, but clearly they are a bit of a mess.

And if they are even halfway competent the actual number probably vary pretty wildly. In which direction is anyone's guess.
But.... after seeing those Ukrainian drones take out those North Korean soldiers, one might think that some people would explore this avenue. Anyway, that's what a friend of mine thinks.
