I want plush and no maintenance.
Curious, what do you think is the best?I don't think it's the best performing fork, but it will best deal with not being maintained/serviced.
Really? Mine's going on 2 years and is rock solid.Check the Dorado thread, reports of bushing wear and play in ~5 months.
Yeah seems weird. Although the one I have now had less than 40 Hours total on it..... but we beat the snot out of the first few demo bikes we built and no issues for almost 3 years on one. WITH NO SERVICE.....don't do this if you can avoid it but the seals finally started weeping and she was sent in. Got it back in 7 days.Really? Mine's going on 2 years and is rock solid.
Certainly. Udi seemed to be implying it was a regular occurrence, which was news to me.I don't think we can be shocked that someone had issues with fill-in-the-blank fork.
This. A million times over. But Ridemonkey doesn't seem to get that.I don't think we can be shocked that someone had issues with fill-in-the-blank fork. They all have issues and the internet disproportionately highlights them. Truth is basically all the forks are good to great, you just have to pick what's most important to you..
it's whatever fork you put an avalanche cart in.I need a new fork for the Zerode. Fox 40 coil or Float? Does anyone have time on both? I want plush and no maintenance.
If people are actually getting years out of them without servicing then I stand corrected - may have just been a one off / bad batch?Certainly. Udi seemed to be implying it was a regular occurrence, which was news to me.
ive had nothing but good CS from them. i just spoke to them yesterday and ordered two springs and got some tech help all within in 20minsI wish marz had a little better customer support. I couldn't even buy the spring I wanted, had to borrow it from a friend to find out it was wrong.
must spread repit's whatever fork you put an avalanche cart in.
they are the OE ones without the fancy bling bling stanchionscant believe no one has mentioned the 'killer pricing' on the 'old' 2013 coil 40s over on go-ride.
It's been serviced, but it's been ridden a ton and is still on the original bushings. If people are actually getting years out of them without servicing then I stand corrected - may have just been a one off / bad batch?
I owned one and I was not very impressed with it.it's whatever fork you put an avalanche cart in.
