Heading out to ride the trails where it all began for me. Should be extra death defying given the amount of exposed rocks, chutes, chunk and rain.

Mornin!

Fixed the nasty noise on the ole steed last night, turns out one of the pivot shafts wanted to be greased after being neglected for a while. Don't mind if I do.

Might sneak off to the bike shop at some point today to see if I can track down some volume spacers for my Float rear shock. It could use a wee bit of tuning.

Let me know if you die.

Getting a Hololens today, to help the engineers here and a machine builder from Korea troubleshoot a problem.

Should be interesting...I'm guessing it'll just add more complexity and confusion. :busted: :nerd::D

Helped my friend with a shock service last night, like night and day what a cleaning and fresh o rings/ seals can do.
I'm gonna grab a breakfast burrito and service my fork this morning, and ride tomorrow before winter arrives on Sunday.

Hannah seems like she might be getting sick. No temp, but a runny nose. Hoping it's just because it's 20* out, because I have shit today for work that doesn't involve her at home.

Too cold to finish painting the drawer for Haley's desk, so study this weekend instead. Glad I blew out the sprinklers last weekend because of the freezing.

GOOD NEWS. My shock came back from Avalanche after a 6 week wait with a life-altering new tune and larger aircan. BAD NEWS, Fox sent them the wrong larger aircan, so now I have to wait for the correct one.

Going to try my first trail ride since early August later today.
Will also be the first time the smashpot has been on anything other than rail-trail and curb smashing. Going to be an interesting afternoon as long as the elbow cooperates.

@Adventurous good news! Didn't die. Also didn't ride so much as hike a bike and take pictures of all the stupid shit I used to hit as a kid and reminisce. No regrets.

Man that place has a distinctive smell, it is almost rougher than I remember, if that's possible.

And last but not least, the most ridiculous huck I've ever done to a natural landing with no transition. Judging by the 20-ft tall trees in the landing, it's not too popular anymore

Tiny murder machines in training. Totes adorbs, broheme.
One decided to climb up my leg while I was pissing yesterday. That was not a fun experience.

I've had to start going in wearing socks so when they do fight around my lap they don't ravage my feet as much.
