what kind of sabotage?Trying to identify a pretty serious trail saboteur up Monkton way...
still no alfa trollmeo though
Rocks, logs, and piles of branches right in the middle of the tread. Many, many places. Removed a bunch of it, helped by big clouds of black flies. Have engaged ten or twelve local bikers to try to keep things clear and identify out helper(s).
what kind of sabotage?
bike is shoved into the back of the car for a quick post-work ride.

got all my parts in for the new build... depending on how today goes, I may drop the frame off to have the BB and headset pressed in, then it's build time!
I also may have worn my wife down to the point that she thinks buying a new car is OK, provided it's not a 20 year old BMW with 150k on the clock...still no alfa trollmeo though.
Are you sure that it’s not residual effects of Apex Gut hot laps?good grief this coffee is strong. my eyeballs are shaking in my head.
This reminded me to check my rear tire to see if it still had air. It did. So it seems the several rim strikes I had yesterday may not have had any lasting consequences. Are you sure that it’s not residual effects of Apex Gut hot laps?
waddaya have in mind? (I'm still quite fond of my DD Aggressor)Looks like beefier tires are in order for the rear, though...
Strongly considering a Wild Rock'R2.waddaya have in mind? (I'm still quite fond of my DD Aggressor)

fvcking assholes with their dogs ...To jimmydean my Friday or not to jimmydean my Friday. That is the question.
True. I tried on before and it ended up on my hardtail, which I ride much more mellow than my trail bike.Minion SS rolls great.
That's precisely why I got it. And that's precisely what it delivered.I don't know about SS, but I have a DD Aggressor in mind. @6thElement suggested the same yesterday.

I've had a RockRazor and a Slaughter in the past. They work great where it's dry, but we get lots of mixed conditions here, and they're not super great in claggy mud (they were surprisingly fine when it was raining though - as long as the mud was wet enough, they didn't pack up). I was actually really surprised at how well they brake too. I guess as long as there's a firm surface to grip on, all those little knobs really conform to the terrain and increase braking surface. As long as there's a firm surface.Minion SS rolls great.
