This garrage i approve of, it is apparent it belongs to a male. Now i want to find some kitchen cabinets. Nice setup @shirk007
I made a snowboard in my bike garage last weekend. It was too cold in the barn.

i grew up right outside pittsburgh. when i moved away i was confused why houses didn't have that.Is that a functioning urinal? Is there a matching pot somewhere or is that what the white bucket is for?
Curious if it's a version of: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pittsburgh_toilet
We have one in our walk-out basement, in a tiny unfinished shitter room next to our basement kitchen. I did not know it was a Pittsburgh thing, I never saw another one here in New England.i grew up right outside pittsburgh. when i moved away i was confused why houses didn't have that.
Saw that on skibuilders and assumed it was you!Now i want to find some kitchen cabinets. Nice setup @shirk007

I didn't know you were a frame builder! I'd love to see moar; details, finished frames, closeup weld pron, etc.Apart from some of these in this thread, this is the most recent workspace that brings me joy.

I am not... yet. But it's going to happen.I didn't know you were a frame builder! I'd love to see moar; details, finished frames, closeup weld pron, etc.
Chris is doing an amazing job documenting that build. His shop appears to be pretty dialed.I am not... yet. But it's going to happen.

except for the 0 length stem. those are sketchy as hell, especially for kids just learning to ride. This thing is cool as hell!View attachment 140950
What? Why?except for the 0 length stem. those are sketchy as hell, especially for kids just learning to ride.
have they tried a balance bike with a non zero length stem? What? Why?
Both my boys are currently shredding around on Strider run bikes with 0 length stems and doing just fine.
did you need to lengthen the top tube and steepen the seat angle as well? What I wanted to change about the strider was the head angle Thing was steep!
Sounds like it will build character.just makes the bike unnecessarily squirrely, which is far from ideal considering you're trying to get a toddler to learn how to ride.
The lack if kiddo sized sticky rubber tires is sketchier than any imagined steering angle issue.just makes the bike unnecessarily squirrely, which is far from ideal considering you're trying to get a toddler to learn how to ride.
sadly the smallest DHF is 24".The lack if kiddo sized sticky rubber tires is sketchier than any imagined steering angle issue.

I found it squirrelly and was somewhat surprised given that we are trying to get kids to learn. Worked out ok in the end, but there were some moments...just makes the bike unnecessarily squirrely, which is far from ideal considering you're trying to get a toddler to learn how to ride.
Ha! Those tires are very slippery. Another head scratcher. The lack if kiddo sized sticky rubber tires is sketchier than any imagined steering angle issue.

It’s a super wide 160 with normal camber, 5 cm of taper, 29cm waist width and a pretty soft tail. It’s a mix between a stiff Freeride nose and a soft park tail. I’m exploring shapes I can’t buy. I made a second one and it rides horribly, haha. Way too much carbon. The beginners luck was strong on the first one. I’m working on a third one now with abs sidewalls.sick! any more details on the board build?
I disagree with 90% of the shit you post on this board but you have a functioning urinal in your garage. The urinal was an addition I did, a friend was demo'ing an old school and I grabbed it. It is functioning...
We both pee so we must agree?I disagree with 90% of the shit you post on this board but you have a functioning urinal in your garage.
So now I have to agree with everything you say because man rules.
fucker
well done
This was the master plan. Soon you will be racing enduro on a TRUST shout.I disagree with 90% of the shit you post on this board but you have a functioning urinal in your garage.

very cool. would love a deck with that kind of width. as a carving nerd, "conventional" shapes require some significantly forward binding angles (or risers) to avoid boot out. what i'm looking for doesn't exist outside custom builds. sounds like a fun hobby. It’s a super wide 160 with normal camber, 5 cm of taper, 29cm waist width and a pretty soft tail.
