here's a pic of mine. Just built it up, haven't hit the dirt yet. It passes the parking lot test with flying colors though. I really think I'm going to like this bike.

Strange how these bikes look so whimpy from the side view though. Because when I'm charging through nasty rocks and drops, it feels like a sturdy full-on DH bike. I get a lot of people asking me why I have a 66 fork on an XC bike. I then procede to point out the near 7 inches of travel and crazy buff BB area.

Giant have done weird things with 1 1/4 steerers on forks before, rather than the normal 1 1/8" straight which would have been more common back then.
