Stihl is what I'm looking at right now.
Eyeing the MS220 with 16 inches bar.

They have a promotion for an extra AP300 batterie if you purchase saw+charger+first batt. Still a lot of money.
The AP200 battery is lighter and doesn't have this Bluetooth BS.

Just realized my 12 years old snowblower has grease ports.
My snowblower failed me on Monday when I tried to use it for the first time this winter. @gonefirefightin prompted me to check the auger belt first. Finally had good enough weather to feel like doing that today after a full week of manually shoveling around the house and driveway (snow pile is 6ftx20x6 at this point.

Took the belt cover off expecting to see a broken belt, nope, looked fine. Pulled the hand control for the auger and it tensioned right up. Started the thing, pulled the handle and everything worked.....gah

Another dump of snow starts tonight, so the damn thing better work tomorrow.

7 has that little extra loft for around the green though.

Let's consult with @Adventurous and he won't see it for years, @CrabJoe StretchPants

What club are you picking for a single club challenge?
I was chipping and putting on the practice green before my round and it worked surprisingly well. The chips were very low, but I could get spin so it checked up. I might end up with a 7 because there aren't any forced carries. But there are a few 400+ yard holes that would be reached in 3 with a 6 vs possibly 4 with a 7. My irons are "traditional" lofts, so my 6 is a 30* vs a 34* 7.

Maybe it was dry and seized. You should check for grease ports...

Went to the DMV to renew my license. Took my legally blind father so he could renew his ID card as well. Stood in line for 15-20 minutes at the sign that says please wait here before someone came out and mumbled something about signing in and instructions outside. The only sign was a code to scan with my phone which did nothing. Gave up and went home. Tried to order one online but discovered that I will need a REAL ID if I want to fly next summer. However you cannot apply first time for a REAL ID online and must visit the office in person. And I will need a few different forms of identification that are of course not going to be easily located. Was able to renew my father’s ID card, or at least I think I did. Have not received a confirmation email yet. Great way to kill three hours though.
I have to deal with the same real id bs here in PA. I seemed to have misplaced my birth certificate and SS card after I renewed my passport so that hasn't been accomplished yet. Oops. Thankfully when I renewed my passport I also got the passport card. Need to search a few more spots for the missing docs, if now luck request replacements.

7 iron for me. I'm reasonably confident I could shoot within a few shots of my 14-club scores using only a 7 iron.
7 iron was my first thought, but I think the extra 10-15 yards from my 6 would benefit more on the long par 4's. The par 5's you at least have three shots baked in. But the longer 4's would be a stretch I think. I think chipping would be better with a 7 for sure.

With my +8 today, I think if I can get +14 or better with a single stick, it would be a success. I guess I need a fanny pack or something to carry my tees and a few balls in. A Sunday bag seems a bit much for 1 club.

I don’t play golf much, I seem to have little periods where I play more or less, there are hundreds of courses in NZ, some amazing ones but also so many little community clubs in rural towns that are like $20 a round, have been around for a hundred years plus and occasionally, or actually seemingly fairly often have stunningly pretty layouts, beautiful combos of exotic and local trees and no-one on them. The course at Ohakune springs to mind. In summer and autumn it is just stunning, and empty. I go play it when I visit my mate up there and we get blazed and hit balls.
Anyway that wasn’t the point; I was going to say I often now take a really limited set so I don’t have to lug the whole lot around and for some reason I often end up playing essentially with my 7 iron, 1 wood, a hybrid thing, a sand wedge and my putter. Everything else gets ignored.

My first set of clubs was a "starter set" with 1 and 3 woods, 3, 5, 7, and 9 irons and a putter. I bought a sand wedge and a 5 wood and played that set through college and even played in tournaments my second year. I got very good at distance control with only odd clubs but having limited options made the game pretty easy.

When I bought my first full set of iron, it took a while to get used to even numbered clubs.

What I would give to spend a month in NZ playing ghetto muni courses, that would be epic.
