~~Good Monday Morning!!~~

Morning. Seems weird to be so late contributing being out here in the "desert."

Let's see, impressions of Vegas? Vegas=International Drive in Orlando on Steroids. All cheesy glitter/glamour with the added gamling and nudity. Going to see KA on Tuesday and George Carlin on Wed. WOO HOO!!

Stosh, can you roll back the firmware? I had the exact same issue with my linksys wireless access point. Find out which version you are on and google it to find out if there are any issues with it and if you find there are, google an older version. dslreports.com is good for that.

I think we're down to Sydney or Paige...but that seems to change weekly :p

How about you & Kell?
I like them both!! But would lean towards Sydney myself. :)

We had a really hard time this go 'round. Girl names were a lot easier for us. I think we finally have one nailed down, but I'm not at liberty to reveal it just yet... ;)

who's frack?

Had an awesome weekend the date went so well that I ended up seeing her on Sat and Sun too.

My backup date went perfect. I was on my way to meet her and my car went through a washed out part of the road and stalled. So I called her, thinking we were going to cancel but she offered to pick me up. Which worked out great since I got to take her to a much nicer restaurant, and then I took her to see a Billy Joel cover band, they were Awesome!

Last night I deep fried a turkey, and I think I'm gonna make some chili tonight for tomorrow night's dinner.

Go to the Venetian - I think their canal mall is smoke free. We spent a *lot* of time there in the canal area with our two liddle kids.

Warning to parents who don't know: Vegas is *NOT* kid friendly.
why would you think otherwise?

i know, let's cram every vice known to man in the middle of the desert, and fill it w/ leches and losers from all over the country.

sounds like a great place for junior!

Well, we'd heard conflicting reports - like awhile back Vegas had attempted to become more "family friendly" - but apparently that didn't fly as well as nakedness and hard-core gambling. :thumb:

We hit Arches, Bryce Canyon, and Zion on the way down, so Vegas was just a small part of the trip. :D

really though, how much hiking can you do w/ small kids? we're about at the age where we can do a short (~1 hr) hike w/ the guys...will definitely hit some trails next summer.

We've done hikes as long as ~5 hours with the boys. The oldest (4) will go a few miles before breaking down. On the 5 hour hike the last 30 minutes was a bit of a challenge. :D

Luckily Arches and Bryce all have very kid-friendly short trails to do. We just stopped momentarily in Zion - most of our tour was a driving tour there.

Out of my mind, back in a moment.
So our neuro prof made us all look like utter morons today.

She KNOWS we've had exams out the butthole for 2 weeks, and we've been studying hard for those. She proceeds to ask us ABOUT 2 DOZEN questions from the material she KNOWS we didn't cover, and then tell us "Um, yeah, step it up. You have 8 days, and you'll barely cover it in that time". Gee, thanks for the encouragement....

I feel like a complete retard after that class.

just don't use one of these:

Rank Male name Female name
1 Jacob / Emily
2 Michael / Emma
3 Joshua / Madison
4 Matthew / Olivia
5 Ethan / Hannah
6 Andrew / Abigail
7 Daniel / Isabella
8 William / Ashley
9 Joseph / Samantha
10 Christopher / Elizabeth
LOL! That's funny because when we first made our list of girls names, we liked Madison, Hannah, and Abigail and then we went to see how popular each of the names were and immediately took them all off!

That's what I do too. Makes a great quick dinner when I get home late from school! I even freeze some lunch-sized portions too for when I don't want PB&J or leftovers.

I am doing terrible and suck as a person. Trying to coordinate a group at the Seahawks game yesterday. I told them where to meet me. Twice. I gave them my cell number. Twice. How could they never find me?! I'm preparing to take the brunt of it at work tomorrow, this is not going to be fun.... I hate responsibility.

Just after/during my 1st post... This is what went down....

Okay in a nutshell..

I get to work at 8:34....

The Admn Asst. Comes over to me with a Package... Tries to give it o me...I explain to her that it was addressed to someone else. She looks down at the ground Mumbles some thing...Looks back up at me with the deer in headlight look... and walks away... Next thing I hear is her calling DHL and bitching at them for delivering the package to our office and that is was not to my attention.... So the HR Manger and Asst Manger come out of there office's. One of them escorts her back to the Cafe. the other one apologies to the DHL rep on the phone... All seems to be settling down.. 9.00am She snaps out... on some on else... 9.15 the 1st police officer arrives...9.20 the 2nd police officer arrives... 9.25 I hear screaming from the cafe... I try really hard not to look. 9.30 2 police officers forcefully escort her to her desk and ask her to get grab her personal effects... She says she is not leaving... They then tell her to grab her wallet and purse.... She declines once again. The cops grab her stuff and escort her outside... 9.50 I need to go to my car and run to the other building... But all the doors have been locked down... So the Hr Asst Mgr, Eng Mgr. help me slip out through shipping bay so I can get to my car. 10.00 She is verbally assaulting the cops... 10.30 she is cuffed and hauled off.

Yee HA...
