Sup 'holes. Wanted to ride last night, but mowed my weeds instead. Tonight is the shop road ride, always fun. Tomorrow I'm gonna take a shot at my best time for my 32 miler.

The people at Best Buy can be real dicks. I bought a car alarm this year from them and it didn't work once they got it in my car. They gave me the runaround and one day, Rob and I decided to just not leave the customer service station until I got something good. The guy made the mistake of offering me a kick-ass Vipor to replace the bottom-line, cheap alarm I'd bought. I started the morning off with a call from my doctor that they got some test results and my pylonephritus never completely went away. So, it's 6 more weeks of antibiotics for me and the risk of kidney damage if this continues
I'm seeing a kidney specialist now, so hopefully this time it'll be completey taken care of.
Otherwise, I'm looking forward to slapping some new XT shifters on the Kona. I think it'll be a low-key night, as my leg is still aching from where I endoed and fell on it this weekend. Damn...I'm just a mess!

G'morning all! I'm slowly recovering from the race on Sunday. My entire body aches. Don't know if it's from the bee stings (6), the endo (a beauty, wish I had a picture), the 2 wheel washout in the gravel, or just the level of exertion the course demanded. It was still one of the most fun rides ever. Props to Drevil for the gold skinsuit, the IF riders for prom dresses and speedos, Gary Fisher for being so damn polite ("excuse me, do you mind if I pass you..."), peter6061 for hanging in there and finishing, Agentorangemen for the place to stay, and everyone that put together such a great event. I was smiling the whole time.

My wife and I spent literally 1.5 hours working with this one salesperson, picking out componantry, cables, speakers, HD TV, etc.. The whole nine yards. So I get up to the checkout and give them my card and they tell me it's declined because I have a late payment. So I explain that I know the payment is late, but that I had mailed it 2 days prior and that it should post that day or the following day. They wouldn't budge. I tried to explain that I had given them close to $1000 in the past 3 months and that my payment was on it's way, they didn't care. I finally got a manger and told him that they were losing a $2500 sale because of a $15 minimum payment that was 1 day late! My wife was so embarrassed (as there were a couple people in line behind us) that she was in tears. So I left 2 full carts of audio/video equipment sitting at the register and walked out yelling FVCK YOU! to the manager. Boy was I pissed. They'll not get another dime of my money...ever.
