Its friday!!!! I am glad it is. i had a great time at my sister-in-laws rehearsal dinner last night , got a little tipsy but had a blast!!!
Tonight I am just taking it easy for the big wedding on Sat. I am ready to party!!! And my sis-in laws soon to be husband knows just how to do it!!!
Hopefully i will get up sunday morning and head for the trails.. who am I kidding?? Sunday Afternoon is more like it

Got another hockey game tonight, then I've got a 730 flight to San Fran tomorrow morning so I won't be online for a week. People better not get too excited though...MBC has my RM password and she's about 50 times less tolerant than I am.

I hear ya.. i went to cali for 3 weeks for a wedding and then a vacation. I shipped my bike out there.. I wound up riding trails about 3 times.. I should have just rented one.

morning!! Been at a conference the last 3 days. Damn hurricane is supposed to keep the coast wet all weekend, so I doubt I'll be riding. Been busy with the conference and night classes so I haven't been able to fix the bugs on my SS yet. Maybe I'll do that this weekend. Also thinking about having a pot luck beer batter fry party.

My weekend looks like it will be a serious rainout. But as long as the wind isn't gusting rediculously hard I should get in quite a muddy ride tomorrow! Other than the possible ride my time will be spent grading papers tomorrow so I can kick back and watch some football on sunday! (Go Pats)

Hahaha! Well the conference itself is pretty boring (payroll software), but the fact that it is in Vegas makes up for it. MBC is tagging along to that one. Neither of us have been to Vegas before.

I've been riding my new Racer-X 29"er every single day since I bought it two weeks ago.

Every evening after work I ride a 10 mile loop single track loop. Usually this takes me 50 min's or so. :dancing:

Last night I was feeling really good and hammered it out in 43 min. I dropped a guy who was riding with me on his kiddie wheeled (26") bike by several minutes. :devil:

I love the big wheels! The rear wheel sticks to the ground on leg burning climbs, it corners like a bat out of hell, and the bike goes exactly where you want it to... point and shoot.

I brought my boombox since I'll be manning the beer booth at the first hole alone...I thought of bringing an air horn ala Jackass the Movie, but thought better of it...

Afternoon all! Rain has officially started so probably not riding tonight We'll see if the guys wuss out on me or not. Had Trail maintenance and a BBQ/ride with some Skidmore prospective members scheduled for tomorrow as well, but that too may be postponed. If they are, then it's more work on the nursery and some R&R I guess (after I spin on the rollers for a while). I just got the OK to purchase a new ride too so I will be taking care of those logistics tonight as well....but I won't tell what it is so don't even ask. I want to surprise everyone once I have it all built up :devil:

when i went to Vegas, not even 5 minutes after we got our rental car, we hit a stop light by a golf course & I yelled "Hit it in the woods", 3 guys look over and the one (big) dude starts coming our way fast......it was pretty damn funny
