Hopefully we get to see Asa's run as well.
And after almost imploding at the start...No one told Asa about the cheater line and he still almost smoked'em all.
JFC, and a spine protector apparently.Ronans crash in morning practice that stopped him racing:

I agree, goldstone need’ed that mentally. He is back, but speaking of that,he need’s to LookOut,Asa,Ronan,Amery,Bruni. I can’t wait for the Season. Of Course,my Boy Gwin will be there. So close for Asa! Well deserved for goldstone
Going to be very interesting to compare times this year.too bad asa's gotta camp in juniors for another year
I'd be dead from the initial impact and still dead now a couple of days later with more continuing dead to come.Ronans crash in morning practice that stopped him racing:

It really is for the elite of the elite. I think some new competitors thought last year it looked easier than it is.Every year the Hardline crashes seem to rule out some WC contenders. I bet the sponsors for some riders either start saying nope more or tell the riders to pitch up and practice for media exposure but don't race or whatever.
I'd be really interested in hearing his thoughts on Hardline. It's not like 100ft doubles were ever part of his phenomenal mtb career. And at 39 I'm guessing he and Gee were the oldest guys there.Anyway Sam Hill racing it and putting a good time down was my highlight.

Thanks for sharing Brother. It did look like a lot of powder. You would know better than I,how Insane it really is.I was riding at Maydena today. The track was blown to pieces loose as bomb hole dusty. And fucking huge and way steeper than you even think it is. AND that wombat gap was mental, small little gap into a bomb hole vert descent. The jumps at the bottom are the easy stuff!
Nothing easy on that track. Cant believe how fast the top racers where on that track…level up x3 over World Cup tracks.
What really made me think about how much has changed since their glory days was how Kerr, Jones, Dunne etc were constantly on camera, playing the media game.
If it wasn’t for the results sheet I wouldn’t have known Hill or Bryceland were there.
Going by how hard it is to arrange a race and how many of the older guys actually own 26" id say it would be pointless. With all the old school guys there, surely they could tack on a 26” DH race the following weekend. Would be sick.
I guess it depends on how confident the rider is, maybe?Every year the Hardline crashes seem to rule out some WC contenders. I bet the sponsors for some riders either start saying nope more or tell the riders to pitch up and practice for media exposure but don't race or whatever.
