We do need more dirty girls around here...if you know what I mean... 
Guys - it's pretty simple: 1) Times change and people grow. 10 years ago you had more free time to post here - now you've got kids/mortgage payments/chemtrails. 2) -Understand this is from my perspective, the guy who started the "Sunday Thread"- If you check out most manufacturer's websites these days, they figured out how to effectively organize some kind of Tech library and/or FAQ that actually serves the customer. Did that start with threads like the "Sunday Thread"... I'd like to think so. =) 3) Pinkbike FINALLY sort of, kind of, go their shit together... and as much as some may not want to admit it - so did EmptyBeer in certain instances. So a lot of other info sources have risen to (our) level. With regard to PB: It's a lot easier for a n00b to click through the main page than wade though the millions of replies to thousands of forum posts.
Does RM need another intellectual infusion of users like Acadian and Sandwich/The Flyin' Fat Man? Sure. It's coming. So long as we, the keepers of the flame, the knowledge base that is our shared experience, continue to show the curious - the n00bs who are thinking about trying the sport we love, by posting here at RM - it's all good. Udi leads the charge in this capacity.
RM will always be the intellectual repository for all things MTB and DH. Show the new guys/gals the way, educate them, and be patient with them and RM will evolve and live on. =)
