Hey Brian...my marketing degree tells me to give you an F for research...:thumb:

In terms of sizes...won't 5.10 tell you? Eric Odenthal should be able to get the sales numbers thus far. Shoot, if I'm not wrong he even could tell you total requests for sizes, even ones they don't make. He had a lot of info last time we talked.

Oh...and gotta squash two e-specs.
1. NO, they don't run big. That was the old ones they badged for Intense way back. All solid black 5.10's are true to size.
2. The "custom" 5.10's for Hill and Rennie were nothing. They had green stitching with "H I L L " in the heel where it normally says F I V E T E N . The Rennie's had red stitching & " R E N N I E ".
Look in MTBR's 05 Sea otter photos.

James,
Life is going pretty well... Been busy, a little beat up from a BMX crash, but other than that, things are pretty good... Give me a call sometime..

Butch,
We like to get as much info as we can... Don't start me ranting about marketing degrees... :mumble: :D

if he gets an F you should too for your failure to apply economics. eric's stats may be almost meaningless once the price jump is factored in.

sorry, i had to give bp some love after beating on marzo earlier.

Honestly, you could look at it from anyone of a 100 or so different angles... But I like the fact that I can conduct a focus group of sorts and get another perspective..

Also, Butch is a good guy... We have taken more than a few fun jabs at each other.

As for beating marz up earlier, I can take a joke...

the monkey is a great focus group. it appears that nobody here is :redhot: about the price. marzo obviously has a winner on their hands. i wish i was on that end of the cash register.

never said butch isn't a good guy. i have seen him here for many moons. i figure y'all have thick skins :thumb: after all this is the internet. everything here should be taken w/ a grain of salt.

Well, I have found on most boards, the focus part of the focus group may be a little lacking...LOL But since the sarcasm flies around pretty freely, it makes things fun...

I take everything on the internet with a gain of salt... Well, more like a bag of salt, but you get the idea...

Thanks to all of you for you input so far... Please keep it coming!!

Seriously, 5.10's do make you into a better rider. I feel more confident on my Guide Tennies than I do on any other flat shoe.

I might be able to wait until before I score a Impact, but if my old Guides can make it...

I wear a 11, although in sneakers it is 10.5, and in Sidis, 44.5.

Yeah, I love my old 5-10s... My favorite flat pedal shoes... I can't wait to get some of the Marzocchi shoes...

What about the big dudes?? I'm a 14 or 15....and I'm in the market for a good flat shoe....(gotta learn how to DJ sometime...and I don't want to be clipped in!) I haven't found a decent shoe yet...
We don't count. Thank god cheap skate shoes come in my size...vans were one of the few brands that made my size,

It's not that you don't count, you are just in the minority... But I have been keeping track of the other sizes too....

i need a 12.5 or 13 depednding on the width of the shoe.

i gotta say the extra $30 for the marzo logo is a turn-off :redhot:
I agree. Saw the zoki shoes at sea otter, but I'm not gonna pay $30 or more extra compared to my 5-10's for different colors and for an "M" on the shoe.

Me and BP are cool. Haterade has not been poured on this thread...me and Brian are tight...share poor daddy stories behind the scenes..and share our best porn.

Speaking of which...where is that seductive pic you fired me of the new Bomber chic oh so long ago. My "hard drive" is lonely....

that looses the point of 5 10's...

No, not really. 661 makes a sticky soled spd now. Its nice for when you dont clip in right away or you want to have a foot clipped out.
