Surly CrossCheck - in the works as an all rounder: kiddie trailer puller, city bike, off road thriller, and occasional fixie. Much better than a 26" beater.
DMR Trailstar in 24" Cruiser mode - these days primarily for returning videos and other short trips; I'm retired from street, park and dirt jumping until my kid(s) are ready to rip it up.

For a long time i was a one bike kinda guy, so I invested in a custom hardtail, rugged, singlespeed, ~30lbs, nothing more i could ask for really, except... i discovered track bikes (via riding a road bike for a summer) I got an extended loan on my aunt's unused track bike as the long distance, highspeed tourer. The two bikes complement eachother wonderfully and allow me to keep riding when one of them has a problem. But sometimes i feel like i should have a 'big bike' like you guys as a point of reference, something that will make my offroad adventures smoother, be flashy, heavy, have a full gear range, cables, two brakes, a long wheelbase; generally- something harder to manouver and easier on my touche.

If so why did you feel the need to and what do you ride them on? Also what are the 2 bikes?
