Get part-time work as a roadway barrier.Congratulations dude!
...reminds me though. I went swimming in a power plant cooling lake a couple weeks ago, and since since then I've had these huge blisters on my nads, and my turds are coming out all bright orange. What should I do?
DRB started one:There should be a official "Ask Dr. Toshi" thread.
ELAINE
She's not Chinese?
JERRY
No. Not Chinese.
Not even Asian.
ELAINE
So. What is she?
JERRY
Well, she's.. like you.
ELAINE
[pause] Oh, how.. disappointed you must have been. [walks to couch, with
her cereal]
JERRY
Well, it's false advertising, see? And the thing is, I think she likes
people thinkin' she's Chinese. She suggests Chinese food. She always
introduces herself as "Donna Chang,"..
ELAINE
So why're you seeing her again..
JERRY
Well, she is a woman.
Did you hurt your neck?Wait wait wait..... your last name is "Clark"? So when some poor unsuspecting guy is sitting in exam room 4, waiting for "Dr. Clark".....and then an asian guy walks in??
That's false advertising.....Like that Seinfeld episode..."But she's not Chinese!!"
I've just blown my own mind.
Uh, this is a graduation for doctors. I'm surprised there were any white people who made the cut. That's so racist.
Making all the Asians sit together.
Ha, Congrats man, that is quite an achievement.
Great job.
He could even put Dr. T. Clark on his sign, and you know the honkey in exam room 4 would be sitting in there guessing what his first name is......Wait wait wait..... your last name is "Clark"? So when some poor unsuspecting guy is sitting in exam room 4, waiting for "Dr. Clark".....and then an asian guy walks in??
yup, that's her. she still plays (clarinet 1 in cascade symphony in Edmonds) and is teaching middle/high school music on Whidbey. ceremony was a needless 2.5 hrs long... but I wasn't about to miss it.Congrats, dawg!
Happy marriage planning...Your fiancee plays (or used to play) clarinet correct? (SYSO and other such endeavors....)
How long was the grad ceremony? I suspect it was all worth it anyway...
you can thank affirmative action. Asians, although a minority by numbers, have to score exceptionally high to get in as opposed to whites, and even more so compared to Latinos, blacks, and native Americans (weird capitalization due to phone, not me). the difference is well documented for the curious.Uh, this is a graduation for doctors. stosh, we'll be in east meadow, long island.Where in NY are you moving to?
Would this also explain why my hot young Asian dentist is such a sadist?you can thank affirmative action. Asians, although a minority by numbers, have to score exceptionally high to get in as opposed to whites...
Completely different reason...at least that's what all the pr0n intardweb sites I've browsed tell me...Would this also explain why my hot young Asian dentist is such a sadist?
good luck to your sister! i have to say that i'm really glad i won't have to be going through the med school application process again -- that was a lot of hard work (for the MCATs), time, and money, only to be repeated again for the step 1, 2 (CK and CS), 3 board exams, not to mention residency interviews. there's always another hoop to jump through.congrats toshi!
hopefully my sister will be in a similar place in a couple of years. for the past few weeks she has been studying for the mcats, which she has to take on friday.
preliminary surgery means that i'm only doing it for a year -- there also exist two year prelim spots -- as preliminary clinical training for another specialty. categorical surgery spots, on the other hand, are 5 year (plus research if desired) straight-through programs that punt out surgeons at their tail end. What's preliminary surgery anyway? Is it that surgery that gets you to the "not quite a woman yet" stage like N8?
Serjin. It's SERJIN.<snip>
