Dude, you can't just come in and start crashing someone elses party. You gotta bring something to the party if you want in, especially if your we're not invited in the first place. Me, I offered to share my Guinness and Chronic in my very first post. And look at me now, I have gotten ignored by older members, got into an offline "Discussion" with a moderator, and have been bitch slapped. :D Hell, I have even posted in one of Stosh's Good Morning threads. Of course I was still ingored by the old guys. But hey, better to be ignored than made to look a fool. (I do that fine by myself!)

And hey, it could be worse... you could be saddled with some weird custom title that you hate. And yeah, this thread is lame.

Thanks for the advice - but honestly I've lurked on enough forums to know better than to trust %95 percent of the answers given, even if I had a question. BTW - my shins haven't changed.

people are a little to uptight in this thread..I agree with Heidi lets help them and guide them in the right direction...they are the future you know;)....anyway I don't think post count should have anything to do with it...2 people I can think of off the top of my head Internal14 and Nobody make worthwhile contributions and neither has a terribly high post count...

oh and one more thing...misspelling words every now and again is ok but on a constant basis....you look like a dumb@ss and you will get little respect on this board...remember Helltaco...my head use to hurt just trying to comprehend what he was trying to say.

Spread the Newbie:heart:....D

I'm on the noobs side, but you should ride your bike to the library. I hate when people have no concept of grammar usage. A mistake here and there, fine. Just being dumb is bad. It's not ok just because you are on the Internet. :mumble:

Come back after English class. That's right. It's not "Engrish".

Why is it when you pass gas in your cubicle, someone always walks in and needs to talk? :dead:
Did they still need to talk to you?

Lesson #58 in the Knucks school of office co-worker/annoyance avoidance - Constantly drop bombs in your cube to avoid your co-workers from entering your cube space.

Works awesome most of the time for me :sneaky:

It's pathetic for someone to think they are superior to/have more intelligent things to say than someone who has just started posting on an internet forum.

Has anyone else noticed that primarily Canadian riders call a fork "forks?" I had never heard it until I helped a Canadian build a bike (granted he was a n00b), and since then, heard it a lot out of Canadian-accented mouths, yet never still from a Washingtonian mouth. I'm not saying Washingtonians are better or anything, just wondering if they're marketed up there as forks' or if bike shop employees call them that, propagating the misnomer.
Not that it needs to be said, but post count means nothing. I have learned very little from internet boards that I did not already know before I got into them. That's not to say they're a valuable resource (extremely valuable), but just that I knew what I was talking about before I got here. I can't be the only one, heck, there were biker genius' before there was the internet.
