Hey, check it out: Our 1st home purchase.......I've been meaning to put these up, but just haven't had the time lately. We signed the offer to purchase contract this evening and put in a good faith deposit, and........off we go!!!
Talk about a busy January.....our closing is set for the 16th, and Greyhound Jr. is supposed to arrive around the 23rd---what's left of my hair will have met an untimely demise by then I'd be willing to bet!
Anyways, the specs: Built in 1970, this solid double-hip rambler is tough enough to handle all of your growing family can dish out. At 1950sq. ft.(2400 with garage),it features a family room that's 17x35ft. With 4 bedrooms(2 upstairs, 2 down) and 3 baths, there's ample room to wash the dirt off......Also, a funky feature if this hip pad, is a Nu-Tone in house stereo system with intercom interface so you always keep those important lines of communication open wherever you are. Groovy!!!
But all kidding aside......I was pretty impressed with the amount of space this house has---there's closets everywhere. Justine really, really likes that.............
It's got a new roof, new HVAC, new vinyl siding, paint and carpet, so it's pretty much move-in condition.....but it is a little dated here and there....most notably the kitchen. But that's not something we can't work around, and I like doing that kind of stuff anyways, so it's all good. So, we're pretty stoked, but definately nervous about making the transition in time for when the kid gets downloaded. The yard is pretty big(3/4 acre in all) so there's plenty of room for the dog to chill out---and a basketball hoop so I can get my dunk on!
