In a van.... down by the river
Wouldn’t you have to ride bikes to know if the riding is good or not? :D :brow:
Oh... I rode bikes in Michigan. One of the main reasons I moved to Colorado. :D

Also - from my ride on Saturday, just in case you missed it:

Northern Michigan looks cool. Copper Harbour..

Getting there is interesting though. Not much else around...
I've a mate back home that has ridden a bit up in the UP, and he prefers Marquette by a fairly wide margin. But he's old like me, so... ??

ETA: If/when you do make it to Copper Harbor, drop by the Harbor Haus and get their berry cobbler.

SS is a elevation snob...

Stopped briefly in Missoula and got the same vibe. So it's not just you.

The 27-year-old protester said the words of her white father, who died 16 years ago, ran through her head: "No matter who the threat is, no matter what the threat is, you look them in the eye so that they know you're human."

Marquette is a bit more XCish with some nice slabs action here and there. More park style enduro in Copper with lots of bridge work on the trails. We only did four rides last time up there. We'll explore more this time around.

I'm under no illusion that hate groups and their ilk don't lurk everywhere, some places just seem to lean into it a bit more.

i'm not even feeling that. been having issues w/ our son. had to take him off his ADHD meds right before vaca (it was having a negative impact on his sleep, insomnia is a known side effect. it had gotten bad enough that it was basically offsetting the benefit he was getting from it), but now some other issues are back. ugh.

Sorry to hear that. Bummer that both options have unacceptable outcomes.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Afternoon. Allergies are raging right now....not sure what it is that I am allergic to, but I am sneezing and don't like it one bit! Took a rapid just to be sure and it was negative...will test again tomorrow just in case. First varsity game (nonleague) is tomorrow and then a bunch of shuttling until I get to go for a ride :D

.... Allergies ....
Try black cumin seed oil capsules as supplement! Helps me heaps to reduce the symptoms.

5 hours in the ER now. More blood tests.

And now getting admitted into the hospital to be examined by the neurologist...whenever they're free.

seems I've missed something. What's going on?
Retinal nerve issues from pseudotumor cerebri from being too fat

Did I miss something? :D

Too long a wait for outpatient neurology so getting the workup via ER system.

Yeah what Toshi said. They highly suspect too high of pressure in my dome piece, but are unsure why. It's either some infection or just unknown random hypertension.

I'm now waiting for a CT scan and then will get the lumbar puncture tomorrow. Maybe both tomorrow?

Hopefully they put me in a bed soon because this vinyl chair is horrid.

I did get to see the neurologist here, who happens to be the chief of staff. Very nice lady.
