Well I'm riding 8 miles with 1500 feet tonight...if I'm feelin' peppy, I'll do it twice.
So there.
Tomorrow is a 12mile 3100ft loop, gps track implies 2000ft of that is in a 2mile stretch. That could be worse than the major hike from today...

In the cleavage of the Tetons
I got SO rained out in the Lake District, it was pathetic. Hours and hours of slogging uphill and downhill. Spent one overnight in an outhouse because the trail was too wet to get to the B&B in time.
All that said, it was one of the best trips of my life.,

Riding the baggage carousel.
you're in France and sending us links to italian food?! Non mais ça va pas, oui?!

You'll do well with the food in France.
We actually ate at the Italian place due to it's convenience and our extreme jet leg right before we went to bed at 6pm local. Say what you will about where we should be eating, but sweet baby Jesus, that cannolo,

Aw, man... you're in the Lake District? Ya bastid, you. :D
We'd probably been hiking up one climb pushing our bikes for 45 minutes and we came to the lake bowl below.

Then discovered our route went up the back of the bowl and there wasn't exactly a defined trail. It was about .75 miles and a 600 ft climb to the rim pushing/carrying the bikes some more.
