i guess Jack was wrongI guess they are wrapping up loose ends ... Sayid, Sun, Jin ... damn.
Naaah....Jack wasn't wrong. I'm assuming you're talking about the bomb, right? Jack was right in his assertion that nothing would happen and the bomb wouldn't go off if they just let the timer run out. Remember, the same thing happened in the Black Rock ship a few episodes ago with Richard Alpert? Locke cannot kill any of the candidates directly, but he can coerce others into doing it for him. Fake!Locke knew that they would try and disarm the bomb-when Sawyer pulled those wires out, it was then him setting the bomb into motion....not Fake!Locke. He only gave them a bomb with a running timer....it just wasn't armed until Sawyer pulled those wires. Technically, they could have just kept on going and gotten off the island and it would have been the end of the story.i guess Jack was wrong
Sun and Jin - Yes.Anybody else un-moved when Sun, Gin and Sayid died? Also, you guys think Lapeenus (sp) is alive?
If you marginalize the relationships between Jack, Claire, and Locke, I suppose you could summarize the relationship of everyone on the island as "they were just on a plane together."why would jack, claire, and locke recognize each other in the alt universe? They were just on a plane together, as far as that timeline goes. granted some have had flashes to the island, theyre not connected to themselves on the island, like it seems desmond is.
i would guess lapideus is still alive, so far if a character has been killed off theyve been shown dead/being blown up.
I guess I didnt convey my point correctly, but in the Alt time line their relationship to one another is trivial, until they make the connection to themselves on the island. But so far the only people who are making connections to themselves and their past on the island are people who have had near death experiences (ie desmond, sun, charlie), or people who were in love on the island. But it seems the people who are in love must physically touch one another to get that connection like we saw with desmond/penny and hurly/libby.If you marginalize the relationships between Jack, Claire, and Locke, I suppose you could summarize the relationship of everyone on the island as "they were just on a plane together."
Hurley and Libby recognized one another.
Sun recognized Locke as they were being wheeled into the hospital together.
Daniel Faraday told Desmond that he recognized Charlotte.
You got it!!I guess I didnt convey my point correctly, but in the Alt time line their relationship to one another is trivial, until they make the connection to themselves on the island. It seems like some of the characters recognize one another, like the interaction of jack and desmond on the plane, but until they have a near death experience it seems to be written off as deja-vu.
you could have watched bret michaels win celebrty apprentice. That was a rather lame ending. SO much not addressed.
And could there have been ANY MORE COMMERCIALS??
agreed.I thought it was awesome and did everything it needed to do. Good job.
We're an instant-gratification society. Everyone loves to have their answers on a plate with a side of sweet potatoes.agreed.
to the people who didnt like it, what else were you looking for?
Seriously? I don't even know where to start.agreed.
to the people who didnt like it, what else were you looking for?
I'm sorry you feel that way....that's a bummer, man.Seriously? I don't even know where to start.
- What really was the island? Even before the "crap" about them being all dead the island was already strange.
- Who where the others? Who where the people at the temple? Why did the temple have a "healing pool"?
- What's the deal with the numbers?
- Why did Jacob bring them to the island in the first place? To die?
- Who build all the crap on the island(temple, cave with the light, statue, magical lighthouse)?
... the questions never end. The storyline was just all over the place and still makes no sense, even if they where all dead or whatever. I think the writers were the one's "lost" and they never knew what they were doing and they couldn't tie everything together.
And you needed to tell us that because....?I've never seen an episode of Lost nor 24.
Plenty of time to watch that crap when I'm old and in a nursing home.
If I recall correctly, the numbers were the seat numbers for the candidates, but I think the rest of the mythology was a bit overblown as to their importance.-The numbers: Jacob had a thing for numbers. They didn't mean anything. That was just something the viewers had built up in their head as being more important than they actually were.
They weren't even seat numbers....that's how bad people blew it out of proportion. If I recall correctly, the numbers were the seat numbers for the candidates, but I think the rest of the mythology was a bit overblown as to their importance.
