Basement window was full of rot. Looks like they used recycled windows for this when the house was built 115 years ago. Pretty easy to remake however I have idea how I know how to glaze a window.
Made window frame out of re-sawn 2X4s and inserted a sheet of glass, retaining it with little metal clips and sealed it with glazing putty of which I am pretty sure is just linseed oil and sawdust.
Well, the @FSM apparently wanted me to not burn the Mazda to the ground. Though it was touch and go a bit on the first link removal. The impact wrench was definitely a key tool, although there wasn't enough room to get it on the lower nut.
So after some cursing and knuckle skinning I managed to get them both replaced.
