thanks, but hottubes wants $1650 for a frame whereas my builder charges $1000. They may be better, but I was very happy with my bike.

That's just what I would want... a high end bike made by some dumbass who barely knows his ass from a hole in the ground..... wait a minute who would be making the bike? Me? Like I said....

Opie sucks about that. Ever since reading about tonycalves bikes walking from his garage (two years now?) I sunk an eye bolt and cable them. Its a hassle but trying to replace them would be a straight up bitch.
