Just received it today Defiantly notice the weight difference between the Avy & the 888, the front end gained about 2.5lbs, but on the flip side the fork feels just awesome, well at least on the street test. Can't wait to get it on the dirt next weekend

Nope don't really feel a difference, I rode a Stratos S8 which pushed it out even further. The cool thing is this fork is actually lower than my 888 with the Rissie crowns

how the hell do you manage to keep the bike down aorund 45lbs whith a build like that.
i couldnt get mine to drop below 50lbs at its lightest, and then i was breaking stuff, i have burlier stuff on it now and its back to being a tank, not that i mind.

Thats pretty much it, the M6's are a little on the heavy side compared to the M4's.

I've played with the avy forks a bit and they rock. If monster trucking down the trail is your game then you will never want to ride anything else. Also i hope you're been hitting the gym cause 2.5lbs feels like alot more at the end of the day. Either way enjoy and let us know how it is.

I'm hoping I'll adjust to the weight, I ran a S8 on my previous bike and it never really bothered me, but now that I've been used to something lighter, who knows. But like I said before, out of the box they feel amazing!!!!

I am sure you will get use to it. It is still a fairly light DHF and I even got used to the MTN quite fast. It is heavy, - but the suspension quality is supreme!
