Wow. very very sweet. Avy front and rear.

does the "forwardness" of the stanchions in relation to the steertube feel weird or is it no big deal ??

I plan on getting one as soon as i sell my monster.

Nope don't really feel a difference, I rode a Stratos S8 which pushed it out even further. The cool thing is this fork is actually lower than my 888 with the Rissie crowns:thumb:

Wow Brian, looking sweet, that thing is just begging for some serious gnar.

Very curious for more of your thoughts on the diffs between the Avy and the 888. Hope you get a lot for the extra 2.5 lbs and more $$$.

how the hell do you manage to keep the bike down aorund 45lbs whith a build like that.
i couldnt get mine to drop below 50lbs at its lightest, and then i was breaking stuff, i have burlier stuff on it now and its back to being a tank, not that i mind.

my guess is:

King Hubs - ~3/4lb
EX823 Rims - ~1/2lb
Tubeless - ~ 3/4lb
Ti Spring(s) - ~1/2lb
Thomson seat post? - ~1/4lb
Hopes - ~???

Other than that though?

Thats pretty much it, the M6's are a little on the heavy side compared to the M4's.

I've played with the avy forks a bit and they rock. If monster trucking down the trail is your game then you will never want to ride anything else. Also i hope you're been hitting the gym cause 2.5lbs feels like alot more at the end of the day. Either way enjoy and let us know how it is.

I'm hoping I'll adjust to the weight, I ran a S8 on my previous bike and it never really bothered me, but now that I've been used to something lighter, who knows. But like I said before, out of the box they feel amazing!!!!

I am sure you will get use to it. It is still a fairly light DHF and I even got used to the MTN quite fast. It is heavy, - but the suspension quality is supreme!

Ohhhh yeah...I can imagine how you must feel.....just looking at the pics. The bike has to move form the garage to the living room (besides the TV so you have something to look at during CMs) !
