DO NOT powdercoat the fork white, leave it black, it looks fvckin awsome, and you could take it to a shop and have em buff/ream the seatube, it takes like 20 seconds. Sick bike as is

seat tube is fine, its that the powdercoat on my seatpost is thick as hell.

Your bike looks great, Erik! Love the white parts with the blue.

Yeah, the seat tube should be fine... they've done thousands of frames with powder, but I'll check them when I get home. What brand of seatpost is it?

I'm not sure on the brakes. They come with shorter brake bolts because some brakes have brake bolts that are too long for the removable mounts (because of the allen head inside). I have several different brands that work fine. I'll try to get some odyssey evos and see what's up. Hopefully you can get it figured out. Let me know if you need new brake mounts, bolts, or anything like that... I have extras.

i got the brakes sorted out. it ended up unscrewing the post when i would try and take the brake bolt out. i just cranked down on em and muscled the spring adjusters to where i needed them. seatpost is a subrosa i think. it says 25.4 on it, but when measured with a caliper it was closer to 26.5. right now some gasket remover is taking the paint off it, should have it slammed in the frame in about 20 minutes.

oh and right now im on 1.85 tires front and rear, sucker should be faaaast

yeah its spot on, the cockpit actually feels really close to my p.1, but just a little longer, with a shoter rear end, and no stupid squish up front

Nice. You'd be getting tons of love over here too... it's just kind of buried in this thread.

I'm debating on what color I'm going to build up now. The plum grey one I built up is a 22. I wanted to check the tire clearance on x-ups with that size of frame, but I'd rather be on the longer one. I get a little bit of toe buzz with a fat front tire on the 22... should be good on the 22.25.
