I had one of the first generation digital units and my friend got one during the same season. It turned out the "smart" chargers were defective and were killing the batteries faster than Apple does in their iPods and notebooksummbikes said:I had a similar experience twice. It took me a few phone calls but they finally replaced my unit cause it was defective - I checked mtbr and a whole bunch of other people had the same problem. My buddy had the same issue and Niterider tried to charge him money for their mistake before I told him about it and he complained.
If you want decent lights backed up by a real company, buy anything BUT Niterider - especially with this news story about their victory in illegal trade restriction - what a bunch of a**holes :mumble:
