If you break them why not find a better bike? I get the idea that the DEMO is the wrong bike for you.bikenweed said:I just broke my second Demo8, be careful with landing sideways. The rear end upper linkage transfers all the force to the cold forged web that surrounds the shock. The cold forging is too stiff and it cracks/breaks right below the pivot of the black link. I've got a broken Demo8 for sale if anyone wants it.
Nice bike though, hope you're enjoying it.

Did you break a 2005 or 2006?bikenweed said:I just broke my second Demo8, be careful with landing sideways. I am running the Michy's and love them them !! :love:droplover said:How do you like those Michellin tires? I need some new tires for my Demo 9 and I was thinking either Michellin or Maxxis. Also, what kind of rear shock is on your bike?
Very nice bike, BTW!
I broke 2 2005 models, as did ALL of my friends who rode the same frame. I didn't get the first one at a bike shop, and couldn't warranty it. It's going to be a back-up bike from now on, as it's still rideable.Netguy said:Did you break a 2005 or 2006?
